About the music

The compositions on Unfinished Spring developed from improvisations conceived in the summer of 2012. They are simple, short piano pieces with spaces and gaps for contemplation.

Influences named by Nigel include Erik Satie, Ludovico Einaudi, Thomas de Hartmann and Gurdjieff, and Arvo Pärt.
